Connemara Stone Company is releasing their newest CD, "Original" on St. Patrick's Day, 17 March 2013. I am honored to be among the first to hear this remarkable masterpeice. CSC portrays their amazing talent from start to finish on this CD.
The very first track, "Drowsy Maggie", pulled me right into the CD and held me captive. "Original" is a mix of old familiartunes and new original pieces by the band. Their song, "Ready for the Storm", is breathtaking and brilliant. Their versionsof "Caledonia", "Ride On" and "Wild Mountain Thyme" are remarkable; and their rendition of "Fields of Athenry" is unique and one of the best I have ever heard. Connemara Stone Company definately surpassed perfection and excellence with "Original". CSC are definately a groupof dedicated and talented musicians. I will never tire of listening to "Original"...it is a MUST-HAVE CD! |
